The safe, cost effective solution, Envirotank single-wall fibreglass tanks give the security of a non corroding water tank at a first cost comparable to externally coated, cathodically protected steel. With fibreglass the first cost is the whole cost.

There are no on going costs for monitoring and maintaining cathodic protection systems. Studies on large numbers of failed steel tanks have shown that about 30% of such tanks have failed due to internal corrosion. External coating and cathodic protection do not slow internal corrosion.
